School Clothing

All clothing and personal belongings should be named.

Parents/Guardians are requested to ensure that pupils are suitably dressed for school in comfortable, washable and manageable clothes, and to provide an outdoor coat.

A Heart of the Forest Community Special School uniform is available to parents. KS1 & KS2 uniform is red KS3 & KS4 is navy blue. This can be ordered through the school.

Pupils on toileting programmes should bring a complete change of clothing with them each day, together with an appropriate number of pads.

Pupils participating in Physical Education activities should have an appropriate kit, such as navy shorts, white polo shirt, plimsolls or trainers, and a bag in which to keep it.

If parents have given permission for swimming, swimwear and a towel should be sent in on the relevant day.

Trampolining requires long trousers, long sleeves and socks.

The wearing of jewellery, with the exception of sleeper earrings, is discouraged not only as it can be dangerous, but also because we are unable to guarantee that it will not get lost or broken.
